BUFFALO GAP- Alleghany controlled the match from the opening serve, piling up wins in both singles and doubles for a decisive team victory.

Lainie McCormick opened singles with an 8-2 win, and Hailey Ryder followed with an 8-1 decision to give Alleghany early momentum. After a 3-8 loss at the No. 3 spot, the Cougars responded with four straight dominant performances. Kara Nicely and Lexy Wills each posted 8-0 shutouts, while Mylee Dunbar added an 8-1 win to lock up the team result.

In doubles, Alleghany left no doubt. McCormick and Dunbar cruised 8-1, Ryder and Wills matched that score, and Nicely paired with Dunbar to close the match with an 8-0 win.
