COVINGTON, Va. (VR) – Covington Middle School girls soccer shut out Blacksburg 5-0 Monday evening, powered by a balanced scoring attack and steady defense. Emeri Brown paced the offense with three goals, while Journee Tate scored her first career goal. Haley Jonas added the final goal to close out the scoring. In net, Marley Aragones tallied one save as Covington preserved the clean sheet and controlled the match from start to finish.
