COVINGTON, VA. – On March 26,2026 the Covington Fire Department was dispatched for a structure fire at 1212 N Pocahontas Ave. When local law enforcement and members of the fire department arrived on scene, a victim was pulled out of the home and transported by helicopter to VCU Medical Hospital for treatment. We want to thank members of the Covington Fire Department, Covington Ems and Rescue, Dunlap Fire and Rescue Squad, Falling Springs Fire and Rescue. For coming together to protect and serve the community . No one from the local fire department was injured on this call.
