UPDATED: SATURDAY, MARCH 28, 2026
The City of Covington is responding to a water main break, first identified on Thursday, March 26, 2026, which has caused service disruptions and a Boil Water Advisory for affected areas.

This advisory applies to areas that experienced low or no water pressure, including but not limited to the following locations. Surrounding areas with similar conditions may also be affected.

Nearby side streets and surrounding areas
If affected:
Boil water for 1 minute before use, or

CURRENT STATUS
Leak stopped at approximately 10:00 PM on Friday, March 27, 2026.
Customers who had low water pressure should begin to see improved water flow.
Repairs are being planned; due to the line’s location near the railroad, coordination is required to access the site.
