Drug Task Force Operation Nets Meth, Cocaine, Marijuana; Covington Man Charged, More Charges Pending

ALLEGHANY COUNTY, Va. (VR) – On 3/21/2026 the AHDTF in conjunction with the Alleghany County Sheriff’s Office conducted a drug operation that resulted in the seizure of approximately 38 grams of meth, 10.5 grams of cocaine, 66.5 grams of marijuana, $538.50 in US Currency, and $3,920.00 in counterfeit currency. 

Jacob Warren Bradshaw (31) of Covington was charged with two counts of Possession with Intent to Distribute and one count of Possession with Intent to Distribute  >1oz but < than 5 lbs. of marijuana.

Other charges are pending.

The Alleghany Highlands Drug Task Force consists of officers from the Alleghany, Bath and Craig Co. Sheriff Offices, Covington Division of Police and the Va. State Police. If you have any tips about drug activity you can contact the Drug Task Force at 540-965-6308 or the Alleghany County Sheriff’s
