ALLEGHANY COUNTY, Va. (VR) – The Celebration Choir 2026 Spring Jubilee has been scheduled for Palm Sunday, March 29, 2026 at 6:00 p.m.
The program will be held at the Lone Star AC Church Family Life Center on Nicelytown Road, 5 miles east of Clifton Forge.

The fifty-member choir and band are composed of singers and musicians from many churches in the Alleghany Highlands with a desire to praise God through song and provide faith based musical events for all to enjoy and come together as a community. Anyone is welcome to be a part of this musical group. Included in the program will be familiar hymns and choir favorites as well as soloists and individual group specials.

There is no admission charge. Doors will open to the public at 5:15 p.m.

Donations received will benefit the Eastern Alleghany Ministerial Association emergency relief fund.

The choir began over a 12 years ago on a Memorial Day weekend when a patriotic cantata called “Celebrate America” was performed to nearly
400 people at the Lone Star Family Life Center. Each year thereafter the choir has sponsored a fall and spring jubilee program for the public in
addition to performing at the July Stars and Stripes Celebration held at the Railroad Heritage Center in Clifton Forge.
