Bath Historical Society Celebrating 50th Anniversary

WARM SPRINGS — The Bath County Historical Society will celebrate its 50th anniversary with the opening of a new two-story addition to the existing museum and research library on Saturday, May 11.  
This is the second time since its beginnings in 1969 that the historical society has expanded in order to house ever-growing collections of historic artifacts, furnishings, photographs, documents and more.  
For the May 11 opening, the public will be invited from 2 to 4 p.m. to view the new facilities and exhibits featuring over 200 years of Bath County history.  
Refreshments will be served and a video presentation of oral histories produced by Bath County High School students is planned.
