Alleghany Retired Teachers’ Association to hold its March meeting on Tuesday, March 3

ALLEGHANY COUNTY, Va. (VR) – The Alleghany Retired Teachers’ Association will hold its March meeting on Tuesday, March 3 at Jackson River Technical Center. The meeting begins at 10:45 AM.
 
The guests for the meeting will be W.L. Dressler speaking on Landscaping and Plants and our scholarship recipients.
 
The service project for March is to collect food for the local food pantries. Members are reminded to bring these items to the meeting.
 
All retired school personnel (teachers, principals, secretaries, custodians, bus drivers, cafeteria workers, etc.) from Alleghany Highlands, or other educational institutions are invited to attend.
 
For more information about Alleghany Retired Teachers’ Association, the meeting or anyone needing transportation to the meeting, contact ARTA President, Joan Green at 540-969-9460.
