CLIFTON FORGE, Va. (VR) — The Alleghany High School FCCLA, in partnership with the Masonic Theatre Underground, invites community members to attend Cougar Comfort & Connections, a free evening dinner event designed to bring neighbors together over warm food and fellowship.

The event will take place on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at 5:30 PM at the Masonic Theatre Underground. Guests will enjoy a welcoming atmosphere and a delicious menu prepared and served by FCCLA students.

Event Highlights

FCCLA members will serve a variety of:

  • Warm, homemade soups

  • Charcuterie selections

  • Fresh bread

  • Beverages

  • Desserts

All food is provided free of charge as a gesture of appreciation and connection for the community.

Fun & Fundraising Activities

In addition to dinner, attendees can participate in exciting activities that support FCCLA members as they prepare to attend the Virginia State FCCLA Conference:

  • Cake Walk – $1 per ticket

  • 50/50 Raffle – Winner receives half of the total raffle sales

Proceeds from these activities will help students cover expenses related to competition and leadership development opportunities at the state level.

Supporting Our Local Food Bank

Guests are encouraged to bring a canned good donation to benefit the local food bank. Every contribution helps strengthen and support families in our community.

For more information about the event, please contact Lisa Richards, FCCLA Sponsor, at 540-969-9093 or via email at lisa.richards@ahps.k12.va.us.

The Alleghany High School FCCLA and the Masonic Theatre look forward to welcoming the community for an evening of comfort, connection, and giving back.
