FRANKLIN COUNTY, Va. (VR) –  Emily Robertson advanced to the quarterfinals with another first-period pin, earning her 50th career victory. At that point, she had recorded the most pins in the least amount of time of any wrestler in the tournament. In the quarterfinals, Emily led 21-8 in the third period before getting caught on her back and losing by pin. She dropped to the consolation bracket and responded with her third first-period pin of the day to keep her season alive. She will continue to compete tomorrow as the tournament wraps up.
