COVINGTON, Va. (VR) – The Alleghany County Sheriff’s Office and Regional Jail recently made a donation to the Alleghany / Covington chapter of “Men of Mission”. The money was raised by staff members who made monthly donations in order to be able to wear the issued Class B uniform on Fridays.
Pictured receiving the donation is Mr. Steve Meadows of Men of Mission along with Sheriff Kyle Moore and Major Ray Keen. Sheriff Moore said that “Captain Amanda Fischer made the recommendation that the donation be made to a local charity” (ACSO photo)
