Covington City Council To Hold Monday, Tuesday Meetings

Covington City Council will hold a called meeting Monday at 4:30 p.m. at Covington City Hall to conduct a joint meeting with the Covington Planning Commission.
The following items will be on Monday’s Agenda:
— To hold a public hearing regarding recommendation/adoption of the City of Covington’s five-year comprehensive plan;
— To hold a public hearing regarding Ordinance Amendment to the CN District allowing for the ability to allow camping by special exemption;
— To hold a public hearing regarding rezoning request of the City of Covington, for property known as the Jackson River Sports Complex, 470 W. Edgemont Drive to be rezoned from R-2, C-2 and M-2 to CN;
— To hold a public hearing regarding special exemption request for the City of Covington for property known as the Jackson River Sports Complex to allow camping.
Covington City Council will then meet Tuesday at Covington City Hall at 6:30 p.m. for a work session to continue discussions on  the fiscal year 2019-2020 budget.
