If you have a house, apartment, cabin or just a vacant property that is currently sitting empty, then this Airbnb workshop may be the perfect event for you to attend.
This workshop will teach area residents how to generate income from their properties using the popular online marketplace – Airbnb.
Attendees will learn all about Airbnb, how it works, how to set up an account and property, operations, regulations and taxes, marketing and much more.
The workshop will be held at Dabney S. Lancaster Community College’s McCarthy Hall in Room 502 on Monday, April 15, at 12 p.m. and also at 5:30 p.m.
The event is free but advanced registration is required at: http://events.vastartup.org.
How to Airbnb is presented by Virginia Community Capitol and sponsored by the Alleghany Highlands Chamber of Commerce and Tourism, the Alleghany Highlands Economic Development Corporation and Dabney S. Lancaster Community College.
For any additional information, please call the chamber at (540) 962-2178.
