RICHMOND, Va. – The flight plan is filed and the health checks are complete! VDACS and Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources have teamed up once again to issue Santa’s nine reindeer their official permits to enter Virginia airspace this Christmas Eve.
State Veterinarians Dr. Charlie Broaddus and Dr. John Tracey met with the big man himself at The Meadow Event Park to ensure Dasher, Dancer, and the rest of the crew are in tip-top shape to deliver joy to the Commonwealth.
By following the proper regulations Santa helps us keep Virginia’s local animal and wildlife populations safe and healthy. Good job, Santa!
