LYNCHBURG, Va. (VR) – James Madison and Liberty face off for the first time in more than a decade Saturday in what has been dubbed the “Battle of the Blue Ridge.” The Dukes travel to Lynchburg to take on the Flames in the first of 10 scheduled matchups over the next 15 seasons.
JMU comes off a loss to Louisville, while Liberty fell to Bowling Green. The last ten meetings between the programs JMU averaged 7-3. While JMU is aggressive, the Flames are known to pull off a win late in the fourth quarter.
