WARM SPRINGS — These calls for service were made to the Bath County Sheriff’s Office the week of Jan. 19-25:
Jan. 19: Deputy Altizer and Deputy B. Smith conducted a traffic stop in the Healing Springs area.
Jan. 19: Sgt. Smith assisted a guest with keys locked in their vehicle at The Omni Homestead Resort.
Jan. 20: Deputy Bryan checked on a disabled vehicle on McGuffin Road in Warm Springs.
Jan. 20: Sheriff Plecker and Deputy Johnson conducted a traffic stop on Muddy Run Road.
Jan. 20: Deputy Colaw checked on a report of an injured deer on Mountain Valley Road in the Warm Springs area.
Jan. 20: Deputy Colaw conducted a traffic stop near the old Cascades Inn in the Healing Springs area.
Jan. 20: Deputy Colaw and Virginia State Police checked on a report of a suspicious vehicle on Mountain Valley Road in the Millboro Springs area.
Jan. 20: Deputy Colaw conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Mountain Valley Road and Cowpasture River Highway in Millboro Springs.
Jan. 21: Deputy Rogers transported two inmates from the Alleghany Regional Jail to Bath County Circuit Court.
Jan. 21: Deputy Bryan transported an inmate from the Alleghany Regional Jail to Bath County Circuit Court.
Jan. 21: Deputy Bryan assisted a citizen with keys locked in their vehicle in the Hot Springs area.
Jan. 21: Deputy Rogers transported an inmate from Middle River Regional Jail to the Alleghany Regional Jail.
Jan. 21: Deputy Bryan and Deputy B. Smith responded to an activated residential burglar alarm on Cowpasture River Highway.
Jan. 21: Deputy Colaw conducted a traffic stop in the Warm Springs area.
Jan. 21: Deputy Colaw assisted the Millboro Rescue Squad on an activated medical alarm in the Millboro area.
Jan. 22: Deputy Altizer arrested a subject on a capias. The subject was transported to the Alleghany Regional Jail.
Jan. 22: Deputy Altizer arrested a subject on a capias. The subject was transported to the Alleghany Regional Jail.
Jan. 22: Capt. Weaver arrested a subject on warrants.
Jan. 22: Sheriff Plecker responded to a local business for a report of drug activity in a vehicle.
Jan. 22: Sheriff Plecker and Deputy Johnson arrested a subject on a capias. The subject was transported to the Alleghany Regional Jail.
Jan. 22: Deputy Altizer checked on a disabled vehicle in the road on Mountain Valley Road near Oak Ridge Station.
Jan. 22: Sgt. Smith and Deputy Altizer responded to a report of a domestic dispute on Indian Draft Road.
Jan. 23: Deputy Altizer conducted a traffic stop on Mountain Valley Road in the Millboro area.
Jan. 23: Sgt. Smith and Deputy Altizer responded to Cowpasture River Road for a report of items stolen from a residence.
Jan. 23: The sheriff’s office received a “be on the lookout” from the Pocahontas County Sheriff’s Office in regards to a female driving a Jeep Liberty. She was attempting to get to Richmond and needed directions. Sgt. Smith located the female.Jan. 24: Sgt. Smith responded to Pit Stop in Warm Springs for a report of a suspicious person.
Jan. 24: Deputy Colaw assisted a citizen with keys locked in their vehicle on Muddy Run Road.
Jan. 24: Lt. Grimm arrested a subject on a capias.
Jan. 24: Sheriff Plecker and Deputy Colaw conducted vehicle checks at Bath County High School. The K-9 was utilized.
Jan. 24: Lt. Grimm arrested a subject on a capias.
Jan. 24: Sgt. Knick assisted  the principal at Bath County High School with a school search.
Jan. 24: Deputy Colaw and Deputy B. Smith checked on a disabled vehicle near the Old Dairy Barn in Warm Springs.
Jan. 24: Deputy Colaw and Deputy B. Smith checked on a disabled vehicle near the vet’s office in Warm Springs.
Jan. 25: Deputy Bryan and Virginia State Police responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident near the Roseloe Motel in Warm Springs.
Jan. 25: Deputy Colaw conducted a traffic stop on Mountain Valley Road near the intersection of Douthat State Park Road.
Jan. 25: Deputy Colaw checked on a report of a suspicious person at a local business in the Mitchelltown area.
Jan. 25: Deputy Colaw and Deputy B. Smith responded to a business in the Hot Springs area for a report of items stolen.
Jan. 25: Deputy Colaw and Deputy B. Smith arrested a subject for petit larceny. The subject was transported to the Alleghany Regional Jail.
Jan. 25: Deputy Bryan and Deputy B. Smith checked on a report of a suspicious person at Bath Community Hospital. Deputies gave the person a courtesy ride to Covington.
