According to the Bath County Public Schools Facebook page,
BCPS will be closed for the next two days, January 28 and 29, due to the large number of student and staff illness.
The next two days will be used to further clean and disinfect building and buses.
Please monitor your children for flu-like symptoms which include fever, chills, cough, sore throat, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, aches and fatigue.
It is important that children stay home for at least 24 hours after resolution of fever without the use of fever-reducing medicines (example: Tylenol).
Flu vaccine is still available to protect yourself and your children.
