COVINGTON, Va. (VR) – The Alleghany Highlands Chamber of Commerce & Tourism is excited to announce the 2025 Chamber Classic Golf Tournament, taking place on Sunday, September 28th at the historic Old Course at The Omni Homestead Resort.

Each four-person team registration includes green fees, a welcome bag stocked with snacks, cart rental, one mulligan, and entry into the tournament.
Golfers will compete for exciting prizes in categories such as Hole-In-One, Longest Putt Made, Closest to the Pin, and Longest Drive (Men’s and Women’s). Plus, attendees can enjoy a 50/50 drawing and a variety of door prizes throughout the day.

“This event is one of our chamber’s primary annual fundraisers, and tournament sponsors are recognized with custom signage at designated holes on the course,” said Jonathan Arritt, Chamber Classic committee chair. “It’s a great opportunity for local businesses to support a community tradition.”

Josh Taylor, Executive Director of the Chamber, adds, “We encourage golfers of all skill levels to sign up and join us for a great day on the course. It’s a fun way to connect with the community while supporting local initiatives. It’s always a great time, and we’d love to see new and returning faces out on the course.”

To register a team or learn more about sponsorship opportunities, contact the Alleghany Highlands Chamber of Commerce & Tourism at (540) 962-2178 or email mnobles@ahchamber.com.
