COVINGTON, Va. (VR) – The AHRL will be hosting Virginia author Audrey Ingram on Thursday, July 17 th at 6:00 pm. The event is part of their 2025 Summer Reading Program, “Color Our World”. Ms. Ingram will be discussing her newly released novel, “The Summer We Ran”, which takes place in Virginia and describes locations familiar to so many of us. The novel is the perfect summer beach read blending a story of lost love, past secrets, and new decisions that change the direction of two lives. Ms. Ingram will be signing copies of her book during the event, and books will be available for sale.
Audrey Ingram is a native of Alabama and a graduate of Middlebury College and Georgetown University Law Center. She practiced law in Washington, DC for fifteen years. When not writing, she can be found digging in her garden or hiking the Blue Ridge mountains. Audrey currently lives in Virginia with her husband and three children. She has published two previous novels, “The Group Trip”, and “The River Runs South”. All of her books are available for checkout at the Library.
