Alleghany Commandery 23, Knights Templar, recently welcomed guests Sir Knight George Vest from Hampton and Sir Knight Eric Swortzel from Waynesboro Stevenson Commandery 8 at a stated conclave in Clifton Forge.
Sir Knight Vest is planning to relocate to the Waynesboro area and join Waynesboro Union Royal Arch Chapter 2 and Waynesboro Stevenson Commandery 8.
Vest has been very active in his Masonic journey in Hampton, saying he desires to be a part of teaching the work in both Knight Templar Masonry and Royal Arch Masonry in the district.
