WORK SESSION AND JOINT PUBLIC HEARING WITH COVINGTON PLANNING COMMISSION
TUESDAY, JULY 01, 2025, at 6:00 PM

The Council for City of Covington will hold a joint PUBLIC HEARING with the Covington Planning Commission on TUESDAY, JULY 01, 2025, at 6:00 PM in the Council Chambers of City Hall located at 333 W. Locust Street, Covington, Virginia. The City Council will immediately go into their work session meeting upon closure of the Public Hearing.

CALL TO ORDER & ATTENDANCE

APPROVAL OF AGENDA (Portion of meeting used to add or make changes.)

PUBLIC HEARING: Notice is hereby given that the Council for the City of Covington, Virginia will conduct a Joint Public Hearing with Covington Planning Commission pursuant to Sections 15.2-1427 (D), 15.2-2006, and 15.2-1800 of the Code of Virginia (1950, as amended) on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. The joint meeting is to consider: The rezoning request of two lots on Locust Street tax map Section 11, Block A, Lots 8 & 9, commonly known as 201 W. Locust St. from C1 to C2.

Any person desiring to be heard in favor of, in opposition to, or to express his or her views with respect to the proposed ordinance must appear before and will be heard by the City Council and the Covington Planning Commission during the Public Hearing.
