Shirley June Smith

Shirley June Smith, age 78, of Clifton Forge, Virginia died Friday, June 13, 2025, at her residence.

She was born August 14, 1946, in New York to the late Paul Heeter and Elnora Fleeger. Shirley was the owner of Monroe Flea Market and Antique Mall. She was a hugh crafter and loved woodworking and making quilts.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her wife Susan Kleibenstein; two brothers, Bill and Jimmy Heeter; and a sister Joyce Heeter.

She is survived by three daughters, Mary Jo Edmondson of Monroe, Georga,  Angi Lamont (Paul) of Panama City Beach, Florida, and Debie Botkin (Tony) of Clifton Forge; a sister, Kathy Lane (Mike) of Clarksburg, West Virginia; six grandchildren, Greg Lamont (Eva), Ricky Carpenter (Dezi), Trevor Carpenter (Jordan), Eli Vaughan (Lindsay), Payton Vaughan (Greg), Chelsea Blackburn (Jonathan); twelve great grandchildren, Leland, River, Ember, Lyric, Oakley, Zander, Aspen, Ember, Parker, Lilly, Willow and Memphis; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge with Mr. Chris Fisher officiating. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Covington. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until time of service.
