ALLEGHANY COUNTY, Va. (VR) – Logan Walton, a rising junior at Alleghany High School, recently represented his school at the Virginia Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership Seminar, held May 30-June 1 at James Madison University.

The prestigious program brings together high school sophomores from across Virginia to explore leadership, service, and innovation.

Walton, who hopes to become a civil rights attorney, called the experience “transformative” and said he especially valued learning about the three phases of leadership and participating in a service project for Ronald McDonald House Charities.
