Virginia State Police Investigating Fatal Crash in Bath County

BATH COUNTY, Va. (VR) – Virginia State Police is investigating a single-vehicle crash which resulted in a fatality. The crash occurred Thursday, (May 15) at 5:00 p.m. on Switzerland Trail, approximately two miles west of Route 687 in Bath County.

A Mahi Roxor ran off the left side of the roadway and struck a tree and rolled over, ejecting the driver.

The driver was identified as Wallace Brook Robertson, 80, of Hot Springs, Va. Mr. Robertson was not wearing and seatbelt and died at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
