US Army Corp. of Engineers announce plans to increase release rate from Gathright Dam today

FLOOD STORAGE RELEASE ANNOUNCEMENT

14 MAY 2025

Today from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM the release from the Gathright Dam will be gradually increased from 250 cubic feet per second to 1,600 cubic feet per second (stage 11.1 feet).

This change in release rates will increase river stages at the dam about 2.0 feet and approximately 0.9 feet in Covington over the next 6 to 10 hours.
