West Virginia State Fair Enjoys Record Food, Carnival Receipts

The Alleghany Highlands Healthy Youth Coalition is participating in an initiative to combat underage drinking.
Titled “Project Sticker Shock,”?the aim of the youth-led initative is to remind adults over 21 of the consequences of purchasing for and/or providing alcohol to those under 21; and of the penalties for those underage who use fake IDs to purchase alcohol.
Representatives from the Healthy Youth Coalition recently visited several convenience stores thoughout the Alleghany Highlands to place stickers on coolers and cases where alcoholic beverages are kept.
