The JRGC Feburary meeting is the 95th anniversary of the club, which was organized in February 1925.
We are members of the National Council of State Garden Clubs, Inc.
Members decided upon a luncheon meeting at The Omni Homestead Resort.
Members discussed the Home and Garden Tour event, which the Alleghany Highlands Chamber of Commerce and Tourism has said will take place on a date to be determined in June, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Vice President Cynthia Baroody reported that Granbery Memorial United Methodist Church will be the organizational center for the tour and also where the luncheon segment of the Home/Garden tour will occur.
More information will be coming in the months ahead.
