After the success of its Spa Club, which was introduced three years ago, Annette Comer and the staff of Merle Norman and Day Spa in Covington has created a new opportunity for Highlands residents — the Family Hair & Nail Care Club.
For only $29 a month, club members will receive one free haircut per month that can be used by any family member.
Club members will also receive special member prices on select hair and nail services and will receive a free month with a one-year paid commitment.
One of the special features of the club are Laura Bush and Lu Fuentes, new members of the Merle Norman family.
Laura has 34 years of experience offering hair cuts, color and perming.
She comes to Merle Norman following a successful career in Charleston, W.Va., where her clients became her friends and, ultimately, her family.
Lu brings over 20 years of experience in creating personalized looks for each individual client.
Raised in a military family that took her around the world, she offers clients a variety of hair styles she learned at various locations.
Now calling Covington her home, she specializes in cuts and color for men and women.
“Both Laura and Lu are experts at men clipper cuts and absolutely love making each man, woman and child look their absolute best with easy-to-care-for styles,” Comer said. “We’re celebrating our 30th anniversary this year and we’ve been providing hair and nail services to the Highlands for 28 of those years.”
Merle Norman will be celebrating its 30th anniversary with an event scheduled for Wednesday, March 25.

Walk-ins are welcome and after-hour appointments are available.
