Madeline Carroll Williams Brown, age 73, formerly of 200 Alleghany Street, Clifton Forge, Virginia died Friday, November 15, 2019 at Brookside Rehab in Warrenton.
She was born June 3, 1946 in Clifton Forge, Virginia to the late Boschobel Cox Williams, Sr. and Mary Ella Hickenbotham Williams.
She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Clifton Forge and was a Nurse’s Aide at the C and O Hospital.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Boschobel Cox Williams, Jr.
She is survived by her husband Robert “Jimmy” Brown, Jr., of Fort Washington, MD; a daughter, Ashley Brown, of Woodbridge; a son, William Clayton Brown, of Aldie; two sisters, Marie Williams, of Washington, DC, and Lola Williams, of Woodbridge; a granddaughter, Ariana Madeline Brown; two uncles, James Edward Hickenbotham, and Roland Sterns; an aunt, Reva Waldron Turner; a niece, Brittany Williams; a nephew, Boschobel Cox Williams, III; and a number of relatives and friends.
A mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at 11:00 AM in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Clifton Forge with Father Tom Collins officiating. Interment will follow in Red Hill Cemetery, Clifton Forge.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 5:30 PM until 7:30 PM at Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge.
