Fincastle Baptist Church: Highlands Campus in Covington will host a community conversation about opiate addiction on Tuesday, Jan. 28.
“The People Next Door” will be co-sponsored by the Alleghany Highlands Healthy Youth Coalition and the Alleghany Highlands Community Services Board.
The event will feature a panel discussion. The panelists will be Dr. Trista Wright, who is a forensic toxologist; Cheri Blevins, who is a registered nurse at LewisGale Hospital-Alleghany and Tyler Deacon.
Doors will open at FBC: Highlands at 5:30 p.m.
Dinner and childcare will be provided.
