City Council To Meet At Covington High School Tonight at 6:30 p.m.

Covington City Council will meet tonight at 6:30 p.m., at Covington High School’s Curfman Hall, to conduct a called meeting and a work session.
The purpose of the called meeting is to:
— Hold a public hearing regarding possible sale of two city lots adjacent to 304 S. Royal Avenue;
— Consider the sale of two city lots adjacent to 304 S. Royal Avenue.
Immediately following the called meeting, the December work session will be conducted.
The following items are on the agenda for the work session:
— Presentation on audit report by Robinson, Farmer and Cox;
— Presentation on safety and security at city facilities.
The following items will be discussed and voted to be placed on the agenda for the regular meeting to be held Tuesday, Dec. 10:
— To consider an appointment to the Redevelopment and Housing Authority;
— To consider an appointment to the Community Services Board;
— To consider second reading of Ordinance O-19-12 regarding tax relief for the elderly and disabled;
— To consider Resolution R-19-63 regarding Second Amendment Sanctuary City;
— To consider Appropriation Resolution R-19-64 regarding acceptance of DARE Program donation in the amount of $250;
— To consider Resolution R-19-65 regarding acceptance of Local Emergency Management Performance Grant in the amount of $18,692 with local match of $9,346 (50/50 matching grant);
— To consider Appropriation Resolution R-19-66 regarding Local Emergency Management Performance Grant in the amount of additional $692 due to increase in grant award;
— To hold a closed session regarding discussion of Administration Personnel matters.
