Mr. Louis Sarratt was honored as The Educator of the Year for Boys Home by the Alleghany Highlands Chamber of Commerce at the annual Chamber Dinner, held at The Greenbrier on March 15.
Mr. Sarratt has 9 years of educational experience and has been teaching Vocational Trades at the Middle School and High School level at Boys Home for 6 years. This educator leads by example, embodying the values of honesty and teaching the qualities necessary for students to succeed in the workforce.
