The annual “Shop With a Cop” is scheduled for Sunday, beginning at 1 p.m. at Walmart.
The event is sponsored by Walmart.
A uniformed police officer will pick up the children who have been selected to participate in the program and take them shopping for their families.
Each family will also receive a gift basket.
Volunteers from Good News Church will help the children with wrapping their presents.
“We are lucky to have Walmart help us this year with a donation,” said Covington Police Chief Chris Smith.
For more information, call Covington City Police at 965-6333.
