COVINGTON, Va. (VR) – Money questions are everywhere, and often people do not know where to turn for sound advice on matters regarding personal finances. Alleghany Highlands Regional Library, in partnership with People’s Bank, will be hosting a Financial Literacy Open House on Monday, March 17th from 10am to 4pm. The purpose of the event is for community members to stop by with their financial questions. Bank representatives will be on hand to talk about important topics such as budgeting, building credit, and fraud prevention.
No registration is required, simply stop by the library at 406 W. Riverside St. in Covington anytime throughout the day.
