Vickie Lee Whitworth
Vickie Lee Whitworth, 58, of Covington passed away on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Friendship Manor Assisted Living, Roanoke.
Born April 16, 1966, in Clifton Forge, VA, she was the only child of the late John M. and Shirley (Lee) Whitworth.
Vickie lived in Covington until she graduated from high school. Following high school graduation, she moved with her parents to Waynesboro, VA where she spent most of her adult life. Vickie was a member of Calvary Christian Church, Covington. She greatly enjoyed cross-stitching, diamond art, reading and most of all talking on the phone with friends.
Survivors include her aunt, Judy Breedlove and husband, Bill; cousins, Jonathan Breedlove, Deborah Hedrick, and Brenda Hutchens; and many friends that she kept in close contact with by telephone.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 14, 2025, at Alleghany Memorial Park, 7008 Winterberry Ave., Covington, VA with Rev. Mike Warren officiating. All who plan to attend are asked to meet directly at the cemetery.
There will be no formal viewing or visitation at the funeral home.
