The Alleghany County School Board approved of several personnel changes Monday.
The school board met at Sharon Elementary School.
The board approved the appointments of Adam M. Sweet, custodian at Clifton Middle School; Carli N. Gibson, teacher assistant at Mountain View Elementary School; Kelsey M. Nicely, teacher assistant, Clifton Middle School; Michael Fischer, Victoria Simmons and Danny Little, substitute teachers.
Arthur M. Ailstock and Erin Y. Huffman were approved as substitute bus drivers. Kathleen W. Broughfman and Cynthia A. Hyler were approved as substitute cafeteria workers.
Christopher D. Phillips was approved as a volunteer boys basketball assistant coach at Clifton Middle School.
Trever W. Fridley and Dusty R. Rowland were approved as volunteer assistant baseball coaches at Alleghany High School.
The school board also accepted the retirements of George M. Bowman, bus driver at Mountain View Elementary School, and Belinda J. Ramsey, custodian at Callaghan Elementary School.
