The Alleghany County Parks & Recreation Department hosted their youth wrestling program in November and December at the old Central Elementary School gym.
Final results included:
• Kindergarten Group Under 50 lbs.: 1st – Sawyer Kerns; 2nd – Caleb Siebenkittle; 3rd – Davis Moss;
• Rookie 1st Grade Under 50 lbs.: 1st – Gilbert Brooks; 2nd – Axyl Knick;
• Returning 1st Grade Under 50 lbs.: 1st – Kerry Harris; 2nd – Ezra Smart;
• Rookie 65 lbs. and under: 1st – Player Altizer; 2nd – Zachary Craft;
• Experienced 85 lbs. and under: 1st – Sidney Fischer; 2nd – Izaike O’Conner;
• Rookie 100 lbs. and under: 1st – (3-way tie) Lane Nicely, Jaxson Harman and Grant Craft;
• 105 lbs. and under: 1st – Tristan Madison; 2nd – Levi Harman; 3rd – Levi Craft;
• 6th Grade 110 lbs. and under: 1st – Eli Persinger; 2nd – Kylan Tolley;
• 140 lbs. and under: 1st – Trystin Hannah; 2nd – Adam Armentrout.
