David ‘Monkey’ Bennett

David Glen “Monkey” Bennett 59, of 6024 Ogles Creek Rd, died Thursday, December 19, 2019, at his residence.
He was born June 3, 1960, in Hinton, WV, the son of  Ann Johnson Bennett of Covington and the late Arthur Glen Bennett.
Mr. Bennett had worked at Walmart and loved watching wildlife and collecting knives.
Surviving in addition to his mother, are two sisters, Terri Perkins and her Husband, Wayne, of Catawba, and Lisa Morris and her husband, Eric, of Covington; one niece, Jessica Perkins and a nephew, Seth Perkins, all of Catawba, also surviving Jimmy O’Conner of Covington.
The funeral service will be held Sunday, December 22, 2019, at 2:00PM at the graveside in Cedar Hill Cemetery with Curtis Johnson officiating.
The family will receive their friends Sunday from 12:30 PM until 1:30 PM at Arritt Funeral Home.
The family suggests that memorial donations be made in David’s name to Mountain Regional Hospice;  P. O. Box637; Clifton Forge, VA 24422.
