Covington City School Board To Convene Monday Night

The Covington City School Board will hold its regular January meeting Monday night at 6:30 p.m. at the School Board Offices, 340 E. Walnut Street.
Items on the agenda include:
— Recognitions and Delegations: CHS/Athletic Department — Charity Hale and Mary Tyree;
— Setting the date for the meeting/public hearing regarding the 2019-2020 proposed budget;
— Discussion regarding appropriations from carryover monies — reserve fund;
— Superintendent’s reports.
Following the meeting, the Covington City School Board will meet in closed session, Code of Virginia 2.2-3711 (A)(1) personnel.
