Dennis Wayne Dew
Dennis Wayne Dew, age 62, of 314 Commerce Avenue, Iron Gate, Virginia died on Saturday, January 19, 2025 at The Woodlands Health and Rehabilitation Center in Clifton Forge, Virginia.
Dennis was born on March 16, 1962 to the late Ralph Roland Dew and Audrey Rosalie Franklin Dew. He was a school bus driver for Botetourt County Public Schools and lead guitarist for the band “Moonshine Express”.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy Jean Coleman Dew of Iron Gate; a daughter, Leigh Ann Dew Snead and husband “C.W.” of Natural Bridge; and three grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2025 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge with Mr. Chris Fisher officiating. Entombment will follow in the Mausoleum of Alleghany Memorial Park, Low Moor. The family will visit with friends on Thursday afternoon from 12:00 noon until the time of service at Nicely Funeral Home.
