Bath County School Board To Hold Budget Hearing Tuesday

HOT SPRINGS — The Bath County School Board will hold a public hearing on the proposed 2020-21 fiscal year budget during its regular March meeting Tuesday.
The school board will convene at 7 p.m. at Valley Elementary School.
Prior to the hearing, the school board will entertain an overview of the budget.
Other items on the agenda for Tuesday night include:
— student representative’s report from Hannah Pritt;
— Focus on Schools: Valley Elementary School;
— action following closed meeting;
— first reading of Virginia School Board Association policies;
— consideration of overnight field trips;
— consider changing date of April school board meeting;
— approve 2020 Bath County High School graduation rate;
— consider athletic director coaching a varsity sport.
Prior to the regular meeting, the school board will meet in closed session, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
