Laborer II Cedar Hill Cemetery
General Description
This position performs manual labor duties and equipment operational work in the daily operation and maintenance of the Cedar Hill Cemetery. Work involves the proper care and maintenance of the municipal cemetery, including working within a small group of workers engaged in keeping the cemetery clean and attractive.
Requirements/Preferences
A high school diploma or equivalent GED is required, as well as possession of a valid Virginia driver’s license with a safe driving record.
Salary and Benefits
The minimum starting salary is $31,200 annually dependent upon qualifications. The City offers a generous benefits package including health insurance, life insurance, VRS retirement, paid leave, and holidays. Following a conditional offer of employment, the applicant must pass a physical examination and drug testing, with clearance to drive and operate machinery.
