CLIFTON FORGE, Va. (VR) – An exciting and informative program is planned for the January 2025 Clifton Forge Community Gathering. The event will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2025 in the Historic Masonic Theatre Auditorium from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. Individuals interested in the future of Clifton Forge should find this program titled “Fresh Opportunities” interesting and informational. This Gathering, scheduled for November 2024 had to be rescheduled to January due to inclement weather.

Town Manager Chuck Unroe will provide a State of the Town update. His update will include plans for the building across from Clifton Forge Town Hall – the former service station/auto repair shop on the corner of Main Street and Jefferson Avenue.

The second segment of the evening’s program will be by representatives of Hill Studio. Hill Studio works with the Town of Clifton Forge on several programs. To continue with the theme of the past two Community Gatherings, they will speak on “Branding Opportunities for Clifton Forge”.

The final portion of the program will be “What’s New at Jefferson School?” Jim Cherney, Lead Developer of the Jefferson School Revitalization, will provide an update on the project. Mr. Cherney is eager to meet Gathering attendees and become better acquainted with our wonderful town.

A Proclamation honoring Jada Callender, who was an active member of the Community Gathering Planning Committee, will be presented by Jada’s fellow Community Gathering Planning Committee members.

The Clifton Forge Community Gatherings are held monthly to provide a forum for citizens. All residents, businesses, and others interested in a dynamic future for Clifton Forge are encouraged to attend. It is not necessary to be a resident of Clifton Forge to participate in the Community Gatherings. All area citizens are welcome to participate.
