Clifton Forge Home Damaged By Fire

CLIFTON FORGE — The Clifton Forge Fire Department responded to a structure fire in the 600 block of Brussels Avenue Wednesday.
According to report, the fire started on the first floor of the home and spread to the second floor.
Two occupants in the house escaped unharmed through a first-floor window. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
Significant fire and smoke damage were reported. No damage estimate was available.
Fire departments from Selma, Sharon and Iron Gate assisted the Clifton Forge Fire Department at the scene.
