LEXINGTON — Clifton Middle School pushed their boys and girls basketball records to 7-0 on the season last Tuesday with a sweep of Lylburn Downing.
The Falcon boys won a 49-25 decision, while the girls were 39-18 victors.
Eli Weese scored a game-high 16 points in the boys win.
Hunter Depriest added seven, Eli Entsminger and Siemien Brown both had six, Anthony Webb scored five, Chris Harden had four, Kole Caldwell scored three and Keaton Fisher added two.
Bryce Leitch had 15 points and six steals for the Falcon girls.
Kelsey Nicely added 13 points to six rebounds, Kaitlyn Tingler had five points, six steals and four assists and Emily Lanahan had four points.
Clifton Middle plays at Craig County today and at Covington on Wednesday.
