Alpha Louise Jones Wilson, 85, of Hot Springs, Virginia passed away Thursday, December 5, 2019 at her residence. 

She was born March 25, 1934 in Bath County, the daughter of the late Harrison Andrew Jones and Ettie Pearl Sevy Jones.

Mrs. Wilson was a homemaker. She was married to the late John Davis Wilson.

She is survived by seven children, Ettie Mildred , Joyce “Tiny” Jones and Minnie Jones all of Hot Springs, Perry Mick and Charles Mick & wife Brenda all of Millboro;  Porter Mick, Philmore Mick; three grandchildren, Elizabeth, Aaron & John; one great grandchildren, Natalie; a brother, Lee Roy Jones of Hot Springs.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, April Dawn Mick; 2 brothers, James and Jack Jones, 1 sister Mildred Jones.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, December 8, 2019 at McLaughlin & Young Funeral Home with John Young officiating and Pastor Lorrie Aikens, assisting.

Interment will be in Warm Springs Cemetery.

The family will receive friends prior to the services, from 2:00 – 2:30 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home.

Arrangements are being handled by McLaughlin & Young Funeral Home.
