Lee Franklin Dunbar, Sr., 79, of 5006 Johnson Creek Road, died, Sunday, November 10, 2019 at his residence.
Mr. Dunbar was born August 20, 1940 in Union, WV the son of late Forest A. and Leona Caldwell Dunbar.
He retired in 2003 from MeadWestvaco as a mechanic millwright after 40 years, he was member of Faith Baptist Church and loved his family.
Surviving are his wife of 59 years Carolyn Weikle Dunbar of Covington, two sons Lee F. Dunbar, Jr. and wife Leslie of Eagle Rock, Jeff Dunbar of Roanoke, one daughter Sheila Wriston and husband Doug of Waynesboro, four grandchildren Brianna Dunbar and Lydia Dunbar both of Eagle Rock, Michael Wriston and fiancé Lacey Cullen and Hunter Wriston and girlfriend Kate Campbell all of Waynesboro; one great grandson Braden Wriston of Waynesboro, two sisters Fern Holland of Union, WV and Virginia Morgan and husband Julian of Organ Cave WV.
The funeral service will held Thursday, November 14, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Faith Baptist Church with Rev. Billy Price officiating.
The interment will made in the Johnson Creek Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
The family receive their friends one hour before service on Thursday.
