James “Jamie” Michael Lawson II, age 49, of Covington, died January 7, 2020 at his residence.
Mr. Lawson was born on December 21, 1970, in Clifton Forge, the son of Cathy Lawson and the late James Michael Lawson.
 Mr. Lawson was a member of Calvary Christian Church.  He was an avid fan of the Washington Redskins and the Virginia Cavaliers. Jamie dedicated his life to the Hot Dog House, and truly loved serving this community through his family business.
Jamie was survived by his two daughters, Madison Lawson and Samantha Lawson; his mother, Cathy Lawson; sisters, Linda Boone and husband Moss and Carrie Webb and husband Bobby; uncle and aunt, Sonny and Sandy Lawson of Canvas, WVA; and furry friends, Lucky and Nick.
In addition to his father, Jamie was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Lindsey Lawson.
A funeral service will be held at Loving Funeral Home, on Saturday, January 11th, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. with the Rev. Mike Warren officiating.
Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Friday, January 10th, 2020 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Loving Funeral Home.
