Faith Baptist Church in Covington held a Polar Plunge event Sunday, Jan. 26, to raise funds for the Area 18 Special Olympics. The congregation voted by donation for the staff member that they would most like to see “take the plunge,” and several members of the Impact Teens youth group also solicited donations to participate as well. A total of $800 was raised for the Special Olympics. In the photo at left, staff member Kathleen All braces herself as she plunges into the water.
