Covington Council Sets Tuesday Meeting

Covington City Council will meet next Tuesday, Jan. 14, at 6:30 p.m. in Council Chambers of Covington City Hall, 333 W. Locust Street.
This will be the regular January meeting of city council.
The following items are on the agenda:
— Monthly financial report and approval of checks;
— Consideration of an appointment to the Alleghany Highlands Community Services Board;

— Report from Covington City Manager Krystal Onaitis;
— First Reading of Ordinance O-20-01 amending the city code of the city of Covington Chapter 2, administration, regarding residency requirement.
